Earlier today I reset my wireless router, but now my laptop isn't able to connect to the internet.

When I go to the 'connect to a network' page, it shows my wireless internet but says:

The settings saved on this computer for the network do not match the requirements of the network.

Anyone had this before or know what to do? It feels like I need to change my settings, but I don't know how.

Green for anyone who can help.

Thanks,
James.

Go to where your wireless networks are managed. For vista this is Control Panel....Network and Sharing Centre and Manage Wireless Networks (On the left hand side). Click on your network and remove it from the list. Then search for avaliable wireless networks again and connect again to your network. That should do it.

Nicked from another website.
