Oh. My. God. Can someone point me in the direction of the old avatar changing stuff? With the Swiss boys out I need to find my Blue Lady again.

Go to SETTINGS, scroll down and the avatar edit links are on the left.

Thanks G, found that only problem is, I am repeatedly getting this message:

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

Now, you know me well enough by now to realise that is quite sufficient to flummox me!

If it can't write a temp file, it may be your HDD or wherever your temp files are written to may be nearly full. Just an option

That sounds sensible but I think it's a problem with the board which I'll have to look into.

After finding out how to do it on the new layout, I changed mine no problem so it may not be a site issue. What web browser do you use Kay ?

No, that's my old one. I've tried to change it again today, and get the same error message.

After a few day's absence I hoped things would be sorted!!!

If any mods (inc you Ayrshire!) fancy having a go on my behalf, here's the link http://www.dorotarot.com/images/paint034web2.jpg

BTW, now coming up remote file is too large, I really don't have the computer know how or the time at the moment to try and sort this out so please, if someone would, then I'd be very grateful.

Done but it didn't seem to like the link as you say....so I saved it and uploaded it from my files Kay.

it is obviously some sort of problem somewhere which we look into at some stage.

If anybody else has problems for now try the way I did it.

I've tried several times to upload a(small) photo of Nye Bevan to use as my avatar and keep getting told the file is too large.I know Nye had a big head but that's ridiculous.

What size is the file?
Are you uploading it from your computer or from another website?
Can you add it here as an attachment?

(To add as an attachment, click "go advanced" when you reply then click on the paper clip)

Thanks John, knew I could rely on you. It's the way I'd always done it in the past without any problem, for some reason it just didn't like it on the new board.
