Same, I'm eyeing a Wycombe, Rotherham, Hudders treble... Any ideas what that'll pay?

A shade better than 10/3 with Ladbrokes.

I'm eyeing a Huddersfield win coupled with a draw between Oldham and Soton.

As for the original thread, I've backed Ronnie, but that's not looking too good, and I wouldn't bet against Avram Grant in the cup...

A single on Everton at 1/2 to beat West Ham.

Trebles on all ten away teams in League Two. Four winners should get me level, anything from there could be tasty.

When I'm working in North Germany, I can see MG's stadium from the gates of the base I live on, MG are my German team. Even though I've never seen them play.

Today though, with Bet 365, I've gone for a treble of

Bolton to avoid defeat @ 11/10.
QPR to beat Coventry @ 8/15
Blackburn to avoid defeat @ 3/10

I was going to have the Blackburn game at a draw (9/4) but wimped out. Tenner pays out at over 3/1

Uncle Leo

No doubt continuing the theme of failure on this thread (although good stuff Shrimper with the Leverkusen tip) I'm backing Athletic Bilbao at home to Hércules tonight. Generally around the 8/11 mark.

I've just noticed something on WillHill's website.

They do a market of 'come from behind to draw', and (as an example) the odds for this for both Uzbekistan and Australia are 8/1 each. Now surely, in a score-draw one side will have to come from behind to draw it, so if you fancy a draw, backing both to 'come from behind to draw' looks a great bet.

Unless I'm being dense, this is surely worth doing rather than backing the draw, isn't it?

Had some more today.

Brum vs W.Ham over 1.5 goals - WON
Barcelona vs Almeria - D.Villa to score - WON
Barcelona vs Almerica - Under 6.5 goals - PENDING.

I had Rangers to win, Cetic over 2.5, both win, with Torres first scorer. Think as the goal was own goal, that part of the bet might be refunded...

Not worth making a new thread on this because it's only hearsay and because I backed people to do this bet on Coventry a couple of years back and they survived by a point...

BUT... there's rumours of financial problems, and possible administration, at Everton. They're 25/1 at William Hill to go down and 33/1 at some other places. Could be worth a quid (I've done a tenner...). They're not playing well anyway and wouldn't survive a nine point penalty.

EDIT - the price at Betfair has tumbled to 15s and they're usually ahead of the curve when it comes to these things.

Followed you on that Beefy with a fiver.

Also had a speculative punt of £5 on Holloway to be next Premier League manager to leave his post at 33/1 on Victor Chandler when the news of their £25k fine was announced. In the 20 minutes since, odds have dropped to 8/1. Fingers crossed.

Bit late, but I backed Clijsters to win 2-0 today. If it's a women's slam final is between a final debutant and someone who has previously won a slam, always back the experienced player to win in striaghts.

Southend 3 - 0 Oxford 20/1
Grant to score 2 or more 28/1 (For him to celebrate not leaving in style.)

Arsenal 3-1 @ 11/1
Chelsea 2-1 @ 15/2
Man Utd 4-1 @ 18/1
A lucky 10pence on that one to win about £190 or so!

Will be having a couple of quid in my account tonight to waste on roullete!

I've got no source on it, mate. Just rumours I've heard. I think it's a value bet either way. Something is definitely not right at Everton. Apparently odds on Moyes as next manager to go have tumbled to evens today amid rumours that he's walked (although I can't find any odds on that market on my phone at the minute to check that).

That was a Twitter-based rumour doing the rounds this morning, which was subsequently rubbished by a few journos. There's definitely something awry at Goodison, though...

Southend for promotion, before Shrewsbury game.
12/1 with Sportsbet. 11/1, 10/1 8/1 elsewhere.

They could nick second or third place the way they are playing, then go and collect. If they make the play-offs, which now looks likely, you are getting a massive 12/1. They will be nothing like that at the time, probably around the 3 or 4 to 1 mark, depending on form.

Pavlyuchenko is 9/4 to score at anytime tonight, which is worth some of anybody's money. He's set to start alongside Defoe and is statistically Spurs' best forward this season.

Also got an e/w Trixie on the go at Newmarket today - Khor Seed in the 3pm (finished third), Pausanias in the 3:35 and Sing Softly in the 4:10.

I had the same apart from Chelsea to win, what a shame for me.

I want to start Onion_Bag_Dave's betting tip of the day, so I can announce to everyone on here what stupid bet they should put on. For example as you saw Torres to score a hatrick 80/1 yesterday, that was a stupid one. I have many more where that came from!
