This is the place to declare the bets you're about to place, post tips, etc. After timers ("I had a 37,843/1 15-fold the other day") will not be welcomed.

Looking ahead to this weekend, given that the game is at Anfield and Man Utd's defence has looked anything but watertight of late, surely 21/10 isn't a bad price on Liverpool this Saturday?

Uncle Leo

Even better - you can get 11/5 on Liverpool at Hills and BetFred.

Am tempted to stick a Fiver on Tottenham, Southampton, Huddersfield and Shrewsbury. 4 Away wins and it pays 43.30/1 @ Coral.

Also going to do my usual weekend longshot £3 on the both teams to score bet, just undecided which games to go for!

Heard a few rumours that Harry Redknapp is resigning today from Spurs on medical reasons. Probably ******** but just placed a tenner on him as next Prem Manager to leave at 9/1 at Paddy Power.

I had 10 quid on England to win at half time against spain think it was 11/2 (or something like that) not too bad.

Mark Phillips to score first is winning loads by a few people I know at the moment.

I'm actually winning money this season which makes a bloody change!

Yeah I had a tenner on England @ 4/1 on Saturday.

I'm doing alright this year. I've been up the last two seasons thanks to a couple of big wins (including the best part of a grand on that Mohsni bet at the start of 2011) but this is the first time I've actually kept a record. It was depressing the first couple of months of the season but a couple of accumulators come in and it's all change.

I've been keeping tabs since 2006. Not going to go in to too much detail, but having staked a five figure sum, I'm down 0.01%. Which isn't bad for five years of fun.

If Southend win L2 this season I'll be well back in the black. Got a tidy little 9/2 on PSG for Ligue 1 keeping me warm through the winter as well.

Is it just for your records only to track money in and out or have you found that keeping a record has changed your gambling habits and the type of bets you put on?

Bit of both. Keeping a record should instil a bit of discipline - filing red number or red number on a Monday morning after a bad weekend is pretty sobering - but I'm still not as disciplined as I ought to be. I really fancied the Man City / Everton double at a shade better than evens last weekend, but still got greedy and threw 5/6 Stoke in there!

Apologies for bigging up my own form here, but if another company were doing this, I'd be lumping on....

If Robin van Persie scores at any time against Fulham on Saturday, Ladbrokes will refund all losing first goalscorer bets.

Given his record this calendar year, a few punts on Walcott, Gervinho, Ramsey etc have to be worth a look.

Even allowing for the wage he was probably on at the time time losing £288,400.00 in one bet was very painful for Didi Hamann.

Makes the 300 quid I lost on the last World Cup seem pretty paltry.
Spread betting can be great fun but it ruins your enjoyment of watching a tournament. Bring on the Euros.

Uncle Leo's curse strikes again! I did this a fair bit towards the tail end of the 2005/06 season too. Will be betting on some other key games as the season goes on with the hope that my crap luck does Southend a favour.

BetVictor have 2/1 on there being over 3 corners on the Athletic Bilbao-Lokomotiv Moscow game this evening. The home side average over 8 corners per game in home matches by themselves.

http://www.oddschecker.com/football/europa-league/athl-bilbao-v-lok-moscow/total-corners

How likely is my bet to stand? Or will they void it claiming clear pricing error etc even though it's been up all morning?

I suspect they will void it, claiming palpable error. I see the line is eight now, so they've spotted their rick.

With minds wandering elsewhere perhaps on tonight's game Tottenham v Stoke I am wondering if we will see a lacklustre Spurs and under 2.5 goals is worth a bet? Although Spurs are a team I would never normally use to go for this option I am thinking there might be some serious value but then again it's a strange old game and they might come out the blocks raring to put personal matters behind them and show fans they mean business.

England Cricket matches must be a good place to cover all bases these days? There are so many points it seems over the first couple of days where the odds end up being long for each of the three results that you should be able to cover all bases and still make some decent ££

Put £2.50 e/w on Broken Promise in the 4.20 @ Lingfield yesterday, tip from Irate Ian! I got 14/1 on bet365, he came in and they paid at 33/1 because of their "best odds guaranteed" offer! £5 returns £104!

Hit the bar yesterday; Real Betis were 8/1 at home against Barcelona, a price that just felt a little too big. 2-1 up going in to injury time when Keita gets an equaliser

Moving to the turf, I was speaking to one of our horse racing odds compilers the other day and in The Oaks, Kailani has "been backed by all the right people". Those 'right people' may all be wrong of course but she has to be worth a punt at 10/1 with Paddy Power (we're only 7/1, clearly trying to steer clear).
