Southend United’s Under-18 side scored seven goals for the second time this season as a thumping 7-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge brought them back into contention for qualification from Group Five of the Youth Alliance Cup.

Shame this result wasn't greeted a bit more enthusiastically when it was given out at half time yesterday, I question how many actually heard it?
