Good training session again, really enjoyed it.

One thing that struck me though is that some of us (myself included, difficult to believe I played last season as a striker, isn't it?!?!) could do with some shooting practice....

... which why mid-week training will be starting in the next few weeks. Im sure with 5-a-side games going on, everyone's shooting prowess and technique will improve. As well as continually improving fitness and becoming a more fluid passing team, i'd imagine with lots of small matches going on this help everyone's shooting.

To be honest, my illness is really starting to **** me off. I was never that fit but i was one of the fitter people. For some reason, one burst just completely knackers me out. Going to have to have another visit to the doctor's if this keeps going on.

Some of us dont need shooting practice http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Think the problem is everyone is trying to hard to score, and all you really need to do is place the ball. Ok to hit a shot really hard helps, but I would rather see a keeper have to make a save than watch a ball go wide or over the bar.

We need more matches, so I can score more goals http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/cool.gif

That'd be the same physio that was nowhere to be seen when I hurt my shoulder(because someone deceided to sit on me!) yesterday, would it?

Yeah, I slide-tackled you, went straight through you and you landed on my left shoulder - meaning that my right shoulder which had been supporting my weight, then supported your weight too..... http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif
