Minutes from The Committee

Due to a change in personnel, minutes from previous meetings may or may not have been posted. As one of the tidying up processes i am currently doing i have decided to post ALL minutes that have been taken since the club was formed. However, due to changes in administration we are missing Septembers and Novembers minutes, but we are trying to hunt these down. Minutes from last nights meeting will be posted after they have been approved by the committee at our next meeting.This gives you the chance to see what the committee actually get up to and not just use it as an excuse for a beer up (although i had 2 very nicely chilled pints of Stella). These minutes have been posted on the Shrimperzone FC Yahoo group which everyone should have joined but not everyone has. If you haven't then you need to sign up now otherwise you could miss out on other announcements we don't want to make available to the general public (ie FM - HaHa). Go to:

[The General]

It would be nice if people would actually read them and give us some feedback with your opinions. We could be talking about anything. Our next meeting is on the 1st March and anyone can come along and listen in if you want. Feb's meeting was the best yet and i'd urge you to read them when they come out as a few big decisions were made.

Because it's club business, not available to the general public, as we only want our members to read it. Your a member - sign up!

Bloody Hell, what do you talk about in these meetings? International espionage? Contract killings? The SZFC drug cartel?

Surely the only people that would come into the SZFC part of SZ would be those interested in the team? How many people have come on here and contributed vital pieces of information about other teams, leagues and pitches etc.

If they are able to read the minutes then more help could be offered that people on the committee haven't thought about or don't have knowledge of.

As a member, you are entitled to your opinion and i can raise it at the next committe meeting if you wish.

I'm assuming this year then, as in April - I don't know - it takes a long time to train for it and he may have pencilled it in for next year....

Was only asking as I was planning on doing the same next year, as long as I can stick to my training.....

This was discussed back in the July meeting that we should create a yahoo group for non-PD info to be distributed amongst the members. All members present at that meeting did not object. To jog the memory it was the one in the Spread Car Park one Sunny Sunday after training. Our plans for AFC Southend must be kept to a select band of people at this stage. If we told everyone who we'd signed up to spearhead the attack next season they'd all want to join the team.
