Rawle scored a couple of goals in Oxfords mid week reserve match away at Swansea in the U's 5-1 win, He'll probably expect to get a start at the weekend now.

He was getting all excited over scored a vanlistery type goal tap in from 2 yards out even when the other oxford player scored started having an orgy over it.

I don't think Rawle is any better than what we've got really... I'd take Bramble, Connie and Husbands over him any day... possibly Drewe too for his physical presence (if only he'd control himself a bit more so as to not give away so many free kicks - and perhaps score the odd goal himself too!)

Agreed Spiff,

Marky Rawle is not any better than what we have now.

On the otherhand I'd happily take Basham from Oxford.
