Thanks to everyone in the Spread tonight for the surprise birthday party.
Sitting here very dronk after too many gins.
Smashing to see the legend that is Dave Cusack in the pub , shame we haven't anyone like him on the pitch any more.
Got to go , feeling a bit queer.

yes, a very good night with top class entertainment.

yet again, the STC take over The Spread and take over the choice of tunes played by Geordie Chris.

And well done to Shrek for coming to training after his little bout of "illness".

Shame on certain others who can't handle their booze.........( MRB!) http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

Ha ha how funny was it, I was spiking Cusack up all day, I told him that you wanted him to sing happy birthday to you, After we left the Spread, we went to Monteys in Leigh, by this time Cusack was driving me mad as I had well and truly spiked him up with Vodka all day, so me and my mates snuck out the back door and left him, when I woke up I had 13 messages from him, as he had got chucked out after we left and didnt have any money to get home. He lives right up by Baker Bar in Southend. Didn't have the heart to call him yesterday as I feel a bit bad about leaving him. In his last message he was by Chalkwell School. I HOPE HE IS STILL ALIVE?http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/rock.gif?

One of the best nights in The Spread Eagle for a long time. I've not had such a good aerobic exercise for some years but the sounds of the 80s just could not be ignored! "To the left - and to the right - and to the left - and to the right!" Even Scriv gave it a try ...

An excellent night, with also included the legend that is Dave Cusack singing "Happy Birthday" to Ken; I think he was touched by the sentiment!

Special mentions to Scriv and Yorkshire Blue for complete lack of rhythm - must have something to do with a combined shoe size of 25; to Snowy and Patsy for their well-meaning attempt at beginning the main evening with a bang by providing the "Ring of Fire" firework, even though it didn't quite work as well as intended : Mrs Jolley - "Four seconds and that's it?! Just like sex really!"; Shrek for maintaining some dignity and the respect of his elders; To Mrs GNH and Ninja for synchronised arm-waving whilst leaning against the Smirnoff Ice Stand all night; blimey! I'm sure some more stuff will emerge during the day!!

Damn! Just remembered singing a duet with Mr B when "Don't You Want Me" by the Human League came on. I think (I hope) I sang the male lead ... although, come to think of it, that doesn't make it ANY better!!

Ken, how is the mother-in-law after her "glancing blow" when the speaker gave in to the laws of gravity and tried to take out half the STC?

Indeed, a top night! And to top it all we even got a few playings from 'The Lumpy Boys Greatest Hits', think I may ask Santa for that one this year......
