Sorry i wont be at training/match

I caught something on friday, and was totally knocked out yesterday from about 2pm onwards. I had no energy, and a splitting headache, and it totally ruined valentines day for me, and my gf. She cooked me a real nice dinner, and i couldnt eat hardly any of it http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif

Im still not feelin too great this morning, and think it would be dangerous for me to drive, let alone play football. My sight is quite blurry and i have not much energy still, infact typing this quite hurts my eyes. Im goin back to bed. Have fun in training, or good luck if there is a match.

Ditto here 2 - was so looking forward to last man standing - ended up playing for Sutton Firsts. 90 mins at Right Back in a 2-0 defeat. Was a very good, hard game that really could have gone either way.

I'm knackered !

We picked up a pointless point against the team above us in the league, Canvey Youth/Island/Pikeys. However, we have 2 games in hand on them but today has kind of f**ked up our title chances but we have still got to play the top 2 twice each so who knows.

I even felt quite fit - the first time properly since X-mas - and didnt feel knackered at all after rentless pressuring as i was the 2nd striker after our striker had been shown a red card for hand bags at 10 paces. A 2-2 draw in what must of been the funniest game of football i've ever played in. Who'd be a ref ....

I beat Daves time. I think I got 22 something but I'm not sure, it was a good training session today and last man standing seemed a lot easier this week.

A few I think, either B or Alexis won it in 22.05, with me about 30 seconds (ish) behind, think 5 or 6 might have beaten Daves time though....

You wait 'til I have a free week, then we'll see. I'll back myself to finish in the last three.

Actually it seemed to be harder than last week - I thought we started sprinting earlier than last week http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Certainly seemed that way - I think virtually everyone that has done Last Man Standing for the last 2 weeks improved the second time around....

Personally speaking I'm still nowhere near as fit is I have been, but am definitely feeling fitter than when I first came to training.

Sorry for my no show yesterday, but my anckle is still giving me grief. Seems I can stand on it ok, and walk, but when I extend my foot forward it causes me enourmous pain on the top of my ankle. Did that sound like Napper http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif

Seriously though, I am really peed off, as have been losing a bit of weight recently and wanted to see if my fitness levels had improved. Oh well, hopefully next week.
