And congratulations to Southend-United who proved they are by far the greatest team the world has ever seen.

With automatic promotion seemingly a formality, and a cup win under my belt, you may all call me Steve Tilson http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/laugh.gif

On a more serious note, well done to all in involved, in particular Bob C for organising - Andee it was much appreciated. Also well played Toddy - at 1-1 at half time I was rather worried, but it was nice to have some competitive games, as my competitive games have been, er, uncompetitive.

Keep training and playing friendlies and Shrimperzone will take over the world of hattrick.

Cheers fellas, no problem.

I look forward to next season cup, when Cousin Weir will be forced to use a 2nd XI, as he will not be able to claim that is what he did this time as it seems he has been playing his 2nd XI in the league if you go by TSI. http://www.shrimperzone.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif

And about time Matt, it seemed that I was never going to beat you. As the previous encounters had you beat me quite comprehensively.

Will certainly be tougher next year. I'm fully expecting to have to play the season without PIC-ing every game, meaning my TS probably won't be content all season.

Whilst I played my brilliant striker, I left out two outstanding strikers and played a formidable and an excellent instead. Its like playing Eastwood and Bramble and leaving Gray and Dudfield on the bench :-)

Don't go too much on TSI in trying to work out my best players as older players with high experience and equal ratings have a lower TSI value than their younger colleagues.

In anycase I actually expect the team I put out next year to be better.
I've been building up a war-chest and towards the end of this season I'm going to go on a spending spree and buy a new keeper, defender and two midfielders, thereby consigning several first team regulars to the reserves. My front line will continue to be trained and I should be able to field (as reserves) at least a brilliant, an outstanding and a formidable up front.

The only potential flaw is that I expect I'll get stung with a massive wage bill and have to off-load all non first team players!
