Finished top 10 in doubles & team event (Divsion B).

Play in Harrogate league on Monday's

Nice, I still play Tuesdays and Thursdays, averaging around 190 but the standard has gone through the roof. There's 5 or 6 200+ average bowlers on Tuesdays now. Fortunately we haven't lost to MiH if I recall correctly!!

Sounds like the standard at the Kursaal has got better since i left!

Ave 190 is good mate - I'm hitting around the 175 mark at the moment.

Woo hoo! A big big win over the (now) bottom placed team.

35.5 stars, 147 hatstats. That's my best by quite some margin, though I was on MOTS.

Darcol Hammers have dropped out and everyone is getting walkovers against them. I play them in two weeks but obviously everyone else will get 3 points from them as well. Therefore it looks like I'll need to get to 15 just to get a qualifier which is a tad harsh! Therefore it's a huge game against champion united this week and I can't MOTS, defeat and I'm back in Level VI.

Lost 6-0 against the team in 1st

Hardly surprising really though. One of their midfielders had a TSI of more than 43,000! 7.5 stars was a bit better than my best midfielder with 3.5 stars. Still, a bit frustrating to concede 6 goals when yyour five man defence is alleged to have two 'formidable' defenders and three 'Excellent' defenders. Don't sound that great to me.

Won 5-2 away. 38.5*, HT rating of 144. Could even break the 40* barrier this weekend with a fair wind... Broke the 12* barrier for my strikers combined, which I'm obviously delighted about!

No question, Mr. B... your lot have come on a fair old way. You'd previously resigned yourself to relegation, for example... but now you've got your eye on staying up - that's progress for you!
