Guys,
Sorry for my no show I think a few of you knew I did the Orient Walk yesterday, had I been able to walk or cycle I would have come over at least to watch or just for the match thingy, the truth is I was f**ked this morning. Also, I don't want you to think I didn't turn up because I'm not intrested in playing, I am. So I'll be there next week... hopefully.

Was on the receiving end of a 4-0 thumping yesterday. I had our nearest goalscoring effort, a 50 yard clearance that bounced over the keeper, onto the crossbar, fell down onto his head and could have gone anywhere.
I almost scored my first goal for Sutton Sports and would have known nothing about it as I was too busy 'accidentally' leaving my studs on their left winger who had 'accidentally' left his fully clenched fist in my kidney.
The opposition were probably the best footballing team I've played this year but they were also the dirtiest I've played against in a long while. We supposedly had a proper referee, but if we'd had a decent one they would not have finished the game with 11 men (but they still would have beaten us comfortably). Our keeper is nursing a gash in his shin as one of their forwards went in well after the save with studs up. Our right midfielder is nursing sore plums after a nice 'unintentional, I was going for the ball challenge'.
It's a shame that a team as good as them have to perform like that.
