Tell u what! Bloody Jamie Stuart isn't fit to lace his boots.
I'll never forget Damo's wonder volley at home last season.

ekco u'8s.his family liked the area, a true professional,100%

Kept his head down too much for my liking when on the ball but is certainly better than Wilson or Stuart. We could do better though.

I doubt he would come to us though.
He could easily carry on playing in the premiship/div 1 for another year.

But he is a good mate with Tilson, its better to play every week at his ages than sitting on the bench doing nothing.
Its would be a fitting end to his career for Southend by helping us to promotion and an another step to First Div return in fews years time.

He's signing a new contract at Charlton. Even though he's not playing much, apparently he's a great presence to have at the club and he has been offered a contract by Curbishley ahead of all the other Charlton players coming up to the end of their deals (including the likes of Di Canio). Despite the stories of him wanting a loan move somewhere Powell seems likely to sign the contract in the hope of playing in the UEFA Cup or Champions League next season.
