I'm sorry to say but you need some 'new' and 'better' players yes you may have had a few chances but our team was screwed up, in the first half we played our regular GK upfront and our 2 centre mids at the back!

What you really need to do is sort it out and get some good players

We have a good group of lads here who enjoying playing football with each other, we know we aren't the greatest but theres no need for you to tell us we need better players, we don't. We will gel as a team irrespective of individuals skills. We are getting better and fitter all the time and still have time to step up a level before the league starts and can only get better by playing together more regularly through midweek training and playing regular sunday games.

I guess you came on here mainly to justify why you were so shocking in front of goal.

You may say your team members were playing out of position but then on the same token so were a lot of our players. Unfortunately we were missing a few players of relative experience of Sunday League football, but this is no excuse as we did play shockingly bad even for us. We know where we need to improve but the one thing this club is about it is the players and not the results. As long as we feel that we did the best we could then no matter what the score we will be happy.

I feel it is best to reserve judgement until we have met in a competitive match.

With that kind of acute footballing nous you could make millions. *Maybe if you'd suggested that to Alex Ferguson they'd still be in Europe.

Yes you were much better and fitter than us on the day but from my point of view at the back you had some pretty fundamental flaws yourself and maybe you want to think about that before criticising others (remind me what your league position is?).
