A friend of mine reckons Yeovil will struggle next season because they let in so many goals, and teams like us, Scunny and Swansea would do better because have good defences.

I think there may be some truth in that, but I also think Yeovil will struggle if this happens:-

According to Matt the Shrimp, Yeovil will do the best next season because they are the best of the four promoted teams - despite a shocking defence (which I kept pointing out to him)...

Cheeky sod - I never said anything of the sort.

However, were they the best team over the course of the whole season last season?

Yes. That's why they won the title.

Were they the best team? Ah, now that's a different question - not one which we ever really discussed...

I hope they do OK next season, all-round they're a pretty friendly club. Personally I think they'll be OK so long as they keep Johnson.

Even with their championship win last year, I think Yeovil have the best chance of relegation, purely because of the way they play, yes the "you score 2 we'll score 3" approach is entertaining, and it worked in the conference and Lge 2, but their not exactly the best leagues in the world, are they? If they want to stand a chance of staying up then I think they have to get in some good defenders and not attack so much.

Well, as much as I am delighted to have got promoted, let's not kid ourselves here; neither is League One.

At the end of the day, it's Division Three.

What I was implying OS, is that they can't take that sort of approach into Lge1, look at us, we're relativly conservative side in terms of attack to defence ratio, and we got walloped by two teams from Lge1 in two years, if Yeovil keep this up then they'll be going straight back down.
