The Shrimpers Trust can now announce details of their 2008/09 Season Player of the Year Awards and Season Review.
The event will be held on Thursday 7th May 2009 in the Shrimpers Bar, Roots Hall, with doors opening at 7.00pm for an 8.00pm prompt start.

For further details click here.

Please note that the doors will not now be open until 7.30pm.
This is because we are unable to get into the Shrimpers Bar to set up until 6.45pm.
The start time of 8.00pm is still correct.

A good evening, well run - of course! Peter Clarke won the Player of the Year, Craig Calver won the Youth Player of the Year, Clarke won the Goal of the Season and Macca won the Southend Junior Shrimpers' Player of the Year.

Congrats Paul, to you and the team on another successful season.

Yes OBL just to echo that sentiment well done Beaver, Kevin and Rob as well as the other Trust committee members lending a hand. It was a good night and seemless between the awards and Kevin's video diary of the season.
Sad to hear that Charles Ademeno has been released by the club:stunned:
Good luck Charles.
