Oh yes, now it's coming together. I'm doing exactly what I did last season. Had a lucklustre campaign up until January, but now hurtling towards March on an unbelieveable run of form.

Sitting 6th, 1 point outside the playoffs with a game in hand on most of the rest of the BSP. Got knocked out in the 3rd Round of the FA Cup by Man Ure, losing only 1-0 at home to an 82nd-minute Darren Fletcher goal. The cup run gave me about £12k to spend, which I used on Dominic Green of P'boro. Also made 4th Round of FA Trophy and went out narrowly 3-2 to Hereford.

8 games to go, hoping I can get myself into the playoffs and challenge for a second straight promotion!
    No longer semi-exiled in Ipswich!
Southend 1-0 Motherwell - start of the love affair!

That will be ridiculous if you get promoted again! Struggling so far in League 2!

That's what I thought when I was sitting in 18th place after 21 games. But one or two loan signings since then have made the team a bit better. Plus I have a high turnover of players every season, and I really think that things only gel and come together from January onwards.

I won't go up auto, but I have a good chance of play offs again.

Definitely won't go up auto. I'm 5th now and in the play offs, but Cambridge have run away with it and are 20 points ahead of me and 15 ahead of 2nd.

How much money will I get to spend? They are financially stable & making profits.
When will the board increase my budget or tell me how much I have to spend?
Should I look to out many players or look for continued stability?
When can I sign players on Bosmans for free?
When can I approach these players & get them to commit to signing when their contract expires?
Should I cash in on Beckford as he is worth £2.5M & if so, how much can I ask for on top of his value & expect to get?

Thanks for your time if you answer any of these?
Your budget for next season won't be announced until the summer. If you have any transfer budget left this season, you could look for players, make offers and offer them contracts but obviously the transfer won't go through until July 1st.

You can offer contracts to players who are out of contract in the summer. If the player is based in England, you can't offer a contract until a month before his expires (so end of May), but you were able to offer contracts to players who are based abroad whose contracts are running out from the end of January (6 months before expiry). To do this, go into player search, bring up the filter and tick the 'assistant filters out unrealistic targets' box. Then add a contract status filtir from the drop-down menu in the top-left of the filter box. Have the filter set to contract status -- Expiring (6 months). Also filter out any players who are based in England (Based --not in -- England).

Hope that helps mate and doesn't seem like gobbledegook!

Has anyone else's game died after patch 10.2? My match engine has vanished. It's really weird. The only way you can watch a game is by making a substitution and watching on the sidebar.

I couldn't even install the 10.2 patch Slip so can't help you there I'm afraid.

Won the Championship title with Forest in the end, my customary slump didn't go right to the end of the season.

Made a few signings rather than going crazy and overhauling the squad. Majewski went back to Warsaw after his loan so replaced him with Aron Gunnarsson £1m from Coventry, Beckham and Kanu came in on frees, Andrew Davies CB from Middlesbrough for £4m and Kuszczak from Utd for £2.5m.

Started with games against Arsenal (a), Liverpool (a) and Man Utd (h)! We were 2-0 up 6 minutes against Arsenal but ended up losing 4-2; lost 2-0 at Liverpool and drew 0-0 against Man U and i haven't lost in 7 games since, winning 3 and drawing 5.

Edit: Had a 16-yo come through my youth team who on the day he was promoted was subject to contract offers from Liverpool, Man U, Man C, Barcelona and AC Milan. The little legend signed a provisional professional contract with.............................................. ..................................me!
Dubbed the new David Platt his reports already say he'll become a leading Premiership midfielder in the future.

Mine went a bit wierd for a while. I had a black pitch at one stage, but it seems to be OK now.
