    About 20 of us went there in the end. Some cracking banter despite the miserable game, from going through the all time disaster bad goals (fair play to the bloke who mentioned Mark McNally stepping on the ball for an OG) to a conversation about a fat ******* XI and gingers who played for Southend.

    Apologies for The Gun being rubbish. I can't imagine that manageress will have a pub to run in the future if she thinks it makes economic sense to let 30 Southend fans leave for not turning her crap iPod off...

    Yes it was an enjoyable evening despite the result, well done for organising it Seany T.

    For what it's worth I think our dreadlocked team was stronger than our fat or ginger teams that we came up with!
