Typical that scientists who understand the effects and the usage of drugs are shouted down by politicians who don't, or have forgotten that at Uni they dabbled but of course, didn't inhale.

Not sure I'm comfortable with someone like Branson being involved with policy, but otherwise a fairly impressive panel.
The trouble is, they are all ex-politicians and ex-police leaders etc. Everyone realises that this needs to be done, but only those no longer involved in the process (with seemingly the exception of the Greek PM) have the freedom to speak out.
Still, it's a step in the right direction. Another decade or so of softening up public opinion and we may even be able to have a sensible public debate on the issue.

I'm happy to stick with the Temazepam suppositories I steal from OAP care homes.
Three out of four of the Scottish leaders admit to it, the fourth "couldn't remember" but later issued a clarification that he hadn't.
They should either be banged up or the law changed. It's hypocritical for them to criminalise kids for what they themselves did.
I've no doubt that it is harmful, but that doesn't stop the government taxing alcohol and tobacco.
