Question What is making you happy today?

1. Take a packed lunch or picnic. There are lockers to keep stuff in but they don't refund your money.
2. Seriously consider a Q-Bot if it is busy. Expensive but you didn't go there to queue all day.
3. My favourite ride was the one where you drive little 2 person boats around.

Thanks Cyril, Picnic already bought as 1 I'm a tightass and 2 we will stop for dinner on the way home so packed sandwhiches are easy.

2. I'm not expecting it to be busy but thanks for the heads up, are there screens like at Thorpe park at the entrance with current queuing times?

Are they special Halloween ones? Spooky sarnies? :winking:

2 - Yes, they do give you an indication. The Q-Bots are really expensive (everything about that place is!) and we didn't bother last year but I would consider it next time.

Catching up on Podcasts and Tizzy's Northern Soul seems to be ignoring it's very raison d'etre but playing 1970s & 80s cheesy disco like it's a middle-aged wedding. All very enjoyable.

Renovated RA Jones clock unveiled in the High Street. Looking very good.
Fantastic work by a group which I'm pleased to be a part of on FB in driving and fund raising for this. Lovely to see the clock back in its rightful place. They're now trying to track down all the other RA Jones clocks in the borough to ensure they're in working order.

Awesome honey glazed roast gammon for dinner, and enough left over for a couple of days too.
