Question What is making you happy today?

I stopped smoking 6 years ago. At that time I was smoking 30 cigs a day. There was a bit on the news today about giving up or going over to e cigs so just for fun I worked out what it would cost me a year now to smoke my old brand in the numbers I did. So, if I was still smoking it would cost me £5940 a year.....**** me, that's outrageous. RHB is very happy he gave up.

My Dorset Cinnammon Apple cake that I've just made and had a slice of, made from apples grown in my own garden. I am a fat *******....

Our 3rd grandchild arrived safely today, on his big sister's birthday - one wonderful birthday present! Hopefully she'll be too old to worry about it when the idea of sharing it becomes too big a problem!

Working from home today. Sun is out, window is open, Faith No More's "King For A Day Fool For A Lifetime" is playing, my Lego Roots Hall is looking wonderful next to me and a red kite just glided past.

The BBC subtitler obviously a Sunderland fan....

The KFC double down burger is coming to the UK for six weeks.

I normally steer well clear of KFC but I am going to give this a go.

My son has asked for a Southend kit to wear at his after school SUFC soccer school.

Good news because he used to cry every time he we put him in the kit he had when he was five.
