Incredible.

Barna and his complete refusal to accept responsibility for his careless fingers, that is. Not the goal. But that isn't to say that isn't a good goal, it's a belting volley from a cracking diag.

#BBGIWA is basically what I'm trying to say here.

I'm quite happy to admit that I make a lot of typos but Bilbo/Bilbao wasn't one of them.Butt out.

Betis' chant for Ruben Castro after his arrest for domestic abuse was interesting to say the least...

Things tightening up at the top after RM seem to be hitting form again and Barcelona dropped points vs Sevilla, with Neymar's reaction to being subbed hinting at even more discontent within the ranks.

Shameful. There are times - Sevilla coach Juande Ramos getting hit by a plastic bottle full of ice thrown by one of our fans being another - when supporting Betis is embarrassing. The relegations I can take, the fans being scum less so.

Yet they have the reputation of being among the best (if not the best) fans in the country.

Best football news coming out of Spain today is that Racing (club de Santander)have been saved from going out of business by a mixture of donations from wealthy businessmen and supporters.Four million euros was raised, apparently.Great little club.

Radio silence from Sant Cugat del Vallès after yesterday's derby defeat (with consummate ease). I do hope he's alright.

Apart from for Espanyol, who lost.

Was win,win for me though.

Hopefully, I'll see Espanyol win against Real Madrid on the last day of the season here.

Even if I don't, I'll be suprised if Ronaldo scores.

What a good old socailist you are.

Somebody wanted to see the game and was willing to pay the market price for it.That helped towards my costs at the weekend. What's not socialist about that?

Making a profit on a giffen good is a capitalist thing to do,as well you know(see what i did there).

This is a very interesting write up of the bizarre relegation dogfight both on and off the pitch. Personally hoping that Elche stay up as I'll be in Alicante from September-January, and that seems almost certain now, assuming that the off the field concerns are sorted out.

And of course it would be rude not to mention Ronaldo's little sulk that Arbeloa didn't let him score
