Jamel Campbell-Ryce

I've never actually seen JCR run without doing at least a couple of step overs - i imagine him walking down Asda's now with his trolley and doing a few tricks and body swerves and doing double step overs before he gets on the bus ..... :footballer:

Wonder if he applied for our position.

Always liked JCR, gone massively down in my estimations now though :Winking:

Needs to go to a small club to find his feet, if he is any good I'm sure he'll be back here.

It's like when we loaned him out to Col U as a player to get match experience.

He was there as a player between his loan spell and joining us so, just like with the ball, he's gone round in circles again.

We lost two youth coaches during the summer, Chris LLewellyn, has gone back to work in his native homeland Wales, and Kevin Horlock went to work as an academy manager at Needham Market's new academy.

At least all their players will be able to do 14 step overs before losing the ball too in future!

To be fair , he was great on his debut for us against someone like Yeovil i think + we did sell him for a fat profit .... so good luck JCR

So, he's still at Colchester as a coach? Hmm.... @Suffolk Shrimper In Dorset , do we have him for SUEPA?

Jamal has just been released from his player/coach role with us (Not that he ever played during this contract!) We have now released 16 players in total many of which were youngsters. Robbie C is having a big financial clearout, I suspect many other clubs will be doing the same in the coming weeks.
