A classic example of why smaller clubs will not win. Prem teams can afford to buy 20 Femi's at the age of 15, release 18 of them 3 years later, and keep the 2 they are interested in. Meanwhile lower league teams get stripped of anyone in their youth team who genuinely has a bit of potential.
 
True, but looking at Michael Ngoo at Liverpool (another from our youth system), seems to be doing very well. Was promoted to the reserves last season and scored 7 in his last 7 games.
 
I am a firm believer in that players will make it in the pro game if they are good enough.

It may take him producing the performances at a lower level, but if he shows he does that and he shows the right attitude then I am sure he will be picked up. Look at the likes of Horsfield, Kightly, Holt, Lambert etc etc
