With Paul Sturrock recently agreeing to do some scouting work for Dundee United, it would appear his first contribution has been to recommend the signing of everyone's favourite Tunisian hothead.

Hope it goes ahead, always enjoy reading about his escapades.

Serious haircut there Bilel, met him a couple of times and he was a lovely bloke and certainly made things interesting around the place, thou Luggy bringing him back may have cost him his job !!!! Good luck to him, be interesting to see how it pans out for him.

I love the comment in the article on their OS which says:

Manager Csaba Laszlo said, "Bilel is someone who can add aggression to our team"

Well, he's certainly not wrong there!

I loved it when Bilel played for us because he made life interesting - will be watching out for their results from now on!

Always enjoyed watching Mohsni play - when was that game he scored an absolute screamer from about 30 yards?

Made his debut today wearing the no.91. He didn't punch anyone so a good start.

Back in Scotland with Dundee Unt on Paul Sturrock's recommendation and looks like he got off to a great start according to their web page :
"New signing Bilel Mohsni looked comfortable at the heart of the United rearguard, and looked like he had lost none of the fighting spirit he showed during his time at Rangers. Calm and composed he dealt comfortably with the threat of Clark and McManus. Dunfermline were reduced to shots from long range from Craigan to find a way past the United defence."
Man of the Match - Bilel Mohsni. In a game which was defined more by defending than in attack it was the new signing Mohsni who stood head and shoulders above the rest. On this display it looks as though United’s gamble has paid off on a player who many will have written off prior to signing for United.

Always enjoyed watching the games he played in, even though he was regularly targeted by opposition player as the scars on his body will show. One of the nicest guys you could wish to meet (off the pitch) and terrific with the kids.

good lad, might see him back in England soon:smile:

Northampton away wasn't it?

Northampton at home in September 2011 - like a bullet.

Northampton away was when he came on as a sub late in the game in January 2012, scored two and caused utter chaos in the Cobblers defence.

Northampton was generallly a big game for Bilel. He started against them for his comeback 30 minutes before being sent off in February 2013 too.

What a player.

I missed the trick on Paul Sturrock, had no idea he was back in the game, I thought he was retired in the South West and trying to deal with his parkinsons / dementia.

Good news to hear though. & the best of luck to them both.
