Britt Assombalonga

He's a quality player, Peterborough create and score for fun so he's at the perfect club. He'll get 25 at least this season.
Well done Britt and good luck, decent lad.

He started like this for us though, let's see how he goes in the miserable Winter weather!

In all seriousness though, wish him well, he was a very likeable young man and did well for us.

He got the assist for the 2nd and won the penalty for their 4th, Posh running riot against a pretty strong Reading team tonight.

He's progressing very well and proving himself at each level it won't be long before prem clubs are knocking on Barry Frys door. They seem to be doing well with strikers and making them money. Aaron McLean, Dwight Gayle and now Britt will surely make them some serious cash.

Yep, they've certainly got someone there with a great eye for unproven talent. But it's more than just spotting them; they seem to bring them on very well.

It's so nice to see Britt progressing so well. Did him wonders coming to us on loan and all credit to Sturrock for seeing that potential in him.

It's a shame we get nothing for developing him (apart from the direct benefits he provided last season).

Good luck to him, decent young man with a supportive family, going about things in the right way.

I'm not sure we developed him as such. We were merely a stepping stone in his transition. He'd played Conference, League Two and now League One. Was he a better player when he left us than when he joined ? Not significantly (partly due to the injury).

I think he was, to be honest. He was always naturally gifted, however he looked very raw when he arrived and he looked a genuine prospect at the end of the season
