Never understand the hard feelings against Ferdinand.

For the record, he didn't do a Jack Payne. We needed to pay a tax bill and he was our most valuable asset at the time. As I understand it, we circulated his name as available and a few clubs were interested, notably Nottingham Forest, before Peterborough tabled an acceptable offer. He didn't have too much of a choice in the matter.

Good player for us and hope he gets back on his feet. Hopefully he's grown up a bit since. Good luck to him.

Exactly.

He was a good player for us and is probably around the top 10 biggest transfer fees our club has ever received.

When he first came into the team, he was a half decent holding midfielder. Then he was pushed forward a bit and I thought he was pants to be honest. Was happy to see him leave as I didn't think he was good enough, but wish him well

On the bench but didn't appear for East Thurrock's 6-0 win against Truro

James Walker, Johnny Herd also played. Lee Sawyer was on the original team sheet; Kyle Asante didn't feature.Bishop Stortford free-kick on the edge of the East Thurrock box that hit their own player square in the goolies!

Kyle Asante now at Great Wakering Rovers.

Kane scored the winner for East Thurrock Utd in extra time to beat Aldershot 4-3 in the FA Trophy replay, banishing bad memories of the time he was in our squad for that infamous Boxing day floodlight failure back in 2011.

They've got Braintree in the next round, so it's guaranteed there will be an Essex side in the last 16.

Now joined Conference/National League side Woking.

'cept for the stuffing they got on his debut , 4-0 at Aldershot,

they are only out of the relegation places on Goal difference so he his in for a tough time

Oh they're having a shocker at the minute I must admit, but they seem to be one of them clubs that other teams always have an eye on to nab one of their players.

Scored again today against Aldershot (he seems to enjoy playing against them) although on this occasion, Woking lost 2-1.
