Building on the feel-good factor of the last few games, how about trying to get a SUFC 'anthem' going? In the TBV sub-forum, I suggessted this song from Yazoo, and it was met with a positive response, so I thought we could put it to the vote :unsure:

Yazoo, were a band from the 80's, formed of lead singer Alison Moyet (Southend Utd fan) & Vince Clark (Southend Utd fan), and "Only You" is one of their biggest & most recognisable hits. The chorus is very easy to remember & sing (for the daytrippers) and it woud play well accoustically around the ground (imo) :thumbsup:

Not suitable, I'm afraid. It's a great song, by two Shrimpers fans. Alison's voice is tremendous. But, the song's not suitable I'm afraid. If we're searching for a Southend connection then Eddie & the Hot Rods single Do Anything You Wanna Do, a hit from 1977, might be better, not least because it needs to be shouted rather than sung:

As mentioned on another thread how about the 1970's north bank classic we've got the best team in the land .Easy to sing and remember!!
