That's a joke. Chelsea and arsenal reserves at home vs lower league opposition. They are going for the audiences from the better supported teams over the neutral. Anyway. Who needs £144k anyway, it just ups the vat bill

The last line is a bit ambiguous as it states

"All competing clubs will get £144,000 in FA Cup broadcast fees while the winners receive £90,000 from The FA Cup prize fund."

To me it sounds like all teams in the 4th round get the telly money. Can anyone clarify?

They mean that all the clubs listed in the article will get £144,000 (each) for appearing in a match that is broadcast live on TV. Teams in the 4th Round not in a live TV match will not get that money.
