Bizarrely, with the exception of Scunthorpe, all the teams in the top half of the table are playing at home. I think we need plenty of away wins tonight.

games going against us big time at the moment.

burton, scunthorpe, chesterfield, fleetwood, rochdale and york all winning. plymouth drawing,

Our games against Rochdale, Fleetwood and Burton are going to be crucial. Good job others in the top 7-8 have games against each other too.
This crazy League is going to the wire!!

Portsmouth nearly ended up in the bottom two tonight. To think they won the FA Cup in 2008 and were still a Prem side in 2010...

I know every match at this point is big, but this saturdays versus Torquay is massive, coming off such a good performance against Oxford, its imperative for the players confidence that they back it up this saturday .They themselves dont wish to be saying maybe Oxford was a one off, lose or draw versus Torquay will hurt them.A win is imperative.Go you blue boys ,trust in one another and go play football. And all you supporters at the game ,SHOUT LOUD AND LONG!

Totally agree. Two wins on the trot is much more likely to boost confidence than what would be 1 win in 15. As you say, yet another must win game.

Plymouth/Oxford/York are the only teams worth looking at now, the top 3 are irrelevant unless they are playing anyone in the 6 places below them. Dagenham probably a lesser threat below.

Shame Burton won last night as if they hadnt they would have looked very catchable when we still have to play them, but with an 8 point gap and with us to play Rochdale/Fleetwood away I think they are assured a play off place now. They have to play York next so need them to win that one anyway.

One point about York, they are in fantastic form but they have a really tough few games:

York v Burton
Rochdale v York
York v Accrington
Oxford Utd v York

Lose all the first 3 and draw that last one please...

On form , it is Oxford that we will have to overtake. They have Dagenham & Relegated away on Saturday which is one they could easily lose (please!). If we beat Torquay, we would be above them. York have a difficult game against Burton, so all to play for.
