Great result and team now look to have regained that self belief and confidence that went missing.

Still 2 very hard away games to go, but this result means that if we can get results at home we dont have to win either.

In a very good position now, lets hope we dont blow it again.

We are never going to finish 3rd. We arent going to make up 9 points with 5 games to go, Chesterfield only need 6 points out of 15.

Chesterfield have gained only 5 points from their last 15.....

It's never going to happen, but it's nice to dream. Chesterfield have a tough run in (as do we) with their last 3 games being away to Dagenham, away to Burton and at home to Fleetwood. You never know, the Wembley defeat syndrome may rear it's head again. I'd take 7th here and now though, that's certainly not secure by any means, but we've given ourselves a good chance, it's in our hands.

This, some people are getting a wee bit carried away methinks.

Would be nice if Chesterfield cocked up and we took control but we'd have to win all our games and hope those above (Fleetwood and Burton) also struggle. Should just look to catch Burton or Fleetwood if possible.

Win next week and if results go our way then we could be just 1 win away from clinching a play-off spot.

Barry Corr what a player!

Fantastic 3 points so well done to all involved.

Cooooooooooooooooooooooooooor...Told you lot he would deliver:winking:

Maybe, let's not celebrate YET.

BUT...

Current standings

Only Plymouth or Oxford should be able to come for us now (unless the wheels fall right off, in which case the playoffs wouldn't be worth getting into anyway). Show the same or better form as either York or Oxford United and we're in. Our GD means we could potentially even drop a couple of points on both of them and still sneak through.

A win against Burton at home (with a healthy GD lead over them) means a good run of form could put 5th place in our sights!

All to play for, that's all you can want!

Any talk of top 3 is way too optimistic, but top 5 definitely achievable with that home game with Burton. We could even be playing the last game to decide whether we play them home or away first in the play offs!

Great to have some optimism back!

One game at a time please. Let's just concentrate on beating the Wombles. Big crowd required please to roar the boys on. Well done today. This win will be invaluable in the final reckoning. UTB

Really interesting dynamic if we were to play Burton 3 times in a row. Would be the case if the season was to end now.
