The World Cup betting thread!

Sold the corner on every corner bet last night for the USA game at 70. 3 corners taken care of after 19 minutes. Had to wait till the 80th to get the other one so another tenner down.
Turning into a betting disaster for me this World Cup.
 
Backed the draw in the Belgium game last night. Hooray!

However, that didn't quite make up for what I lost backing Argentina. Boo. Or indeed my France/Germany double. Boo again. A bad couple of days.

Really not sure how to play the quarters. Thinking France may be a touch of value against Germany.

Only got a few quid left of my money! Tempted to go for an accumulator of winners - France, Brazil, Holland, Belgium.

Just keep backing draws in the knockout stages over 90 mins,it's like buying money.

I can only see the one draw in the Quarters, that said, all my good work in the group stage and early KO stage was undone by the France/Germany/Argentina games, leaving me down on the tournament. So you should probably ignore me.

Anyway, I went 0-0 Fra/Arg 1-0 Col at 78's.
 
My France bet died with a whimper.

I also laid Brazil in 90 minutes. Already backed Germany substantially to win in 90 and to qualify. I really don't rate Brazil but that cost me money last night!

Still holding on to a 4/1 bet on Argentina to win the World Cup so will probably have a small cover bet on the Netherlands this evening.
 
Just done my final tally up - somehow made a 10.15% profit on the whole tournament. Clearly the losses (selling Netherlands for an overall loss of £130 being the lowlight) stick in the memory more than the wins.
