There is no New-Years day fixture this season. Reason being that new years day is a Thursday, 2 days before we are due to play on the saturday.

This also means the Christmas period is less congested

Don't worry. They will be mid week in the winter! Why they can't organise long distance trips for Saturdays either early season or late season to avoid possible weather postponements is beyond me! Mid week games should be fairly local games.

Just been told a rumour, that we have luton away first game. Tomorrow we find out
 
I never understand why everyone gets so excited about the fixtures coming out?? Cup Draws, yes I understand, but the League Fixtures?? we know we're going to play everyone else twice so why the drama?

For me it's looking at holiday fixtures and working out which one we're going to have a nice weekend away at!

All about what you can get to and what you can't. For those of us who get the train away you can start booking tickets. Also makes the new season seem more real and hopefully people can have a distraction from getting het up about one eleventh of the line up of one of the friendlies.

But it's who and when - When can I get off my arse to the local(ish) clubs to me - Luton, Cambridge, Oxford, Northampton.
