UKIP have a history of being poor with stats - posters alleging the entire population of Europe were suddenly going to turn up at Waterloo station springs to mind.

Except that those posters were never alleging that in the first place. Why don't you make some sarky comments about that car crash of a interview with The Greens leader. London Corporation are still sweeping up the mess Bennett left.

If they were tongue in cheek they should have put a smiley at the end of it. Seems a strange way to spend election money - stating something misleading and expecting everyone to interpret it.
I haven't seen / heard Mrs Green's interview in full so I wouldn't volunteer a comment. She kind of critiqued herself from the bits of it I have heard.
Greens I think are nice people who are not very good at politics and UNKIP are not nice people who are not very good at politics.

And Hope not Hate are complete tossers who aren't very good at anything apart from telling everyone how they should think and act.

How odd, Canvey - the most white place in England is being targeted by a party who want to keep their country white.

90% white population or something in the last published census.

Seriously, the clamour when I lived at my mum and dads when a black family moved in over the road was almighty. Canvey is Farage's dream, the deep south of England.

Likewise, when a black couple moved in opposite my mother's, in whiter-than-white Eastwood back in the 70's (they were both doctors for christsake).

It's all about opinions Tone . This is how The Zone survives....lets all in future debate the topic/post rather than the individual.

Nice to see that everyone has overlooked the fact that Canvey Island is in Castle Point and that is a major target for UKIP. And can I just point out that the only people mentioning colour here are the more left leaning of this site and not UKIP, Farage, me or him.

Just saying.

"To acknowledge difference is to begin on the long road to accepting difference. May a hundred flowers bloom in the long march to sharing our path together before we make the great leap forward to our common goal in humanity. May you march together not in a race but as one race - the human race." (from 'The Thoughts of Chairman Nox')

I seem to remember seeing a Channel 4 programme the other week where a UKIP councillor openly admitted that she didn't like people with "negroid features".

Granted, she was subsequently kicked out of UKIP but I suspect her opinions aren't at all uncommon in her particular political party.

Nudge,nudge.Wink,wink.

Did the specialise in female genital mutilation?
So your understanding of the world is that all black doctors perform FMG? That says a lot about you and very little about anything else.

Not kicked out for saying it but for saying it on camera of course. She was a councillor and would have made similar comments off camera to party members many times.
