Gordon Barker played 61 games for Southend 10 goals between 1954 & 1959.

Played cricket for Essex his first class batting record pretty useful - Played 451 matches between 1954 & 1971, scored 22,288 runs, highest score 181 not out, Average 29.21, 30 x 100's, 50 x 50's,

Terry Kent played 10 times as many games for Essex (that's 10 in total) as he did for Southend and Sam Montgomery was rather more of a regular cricketer and footballer playing many games for Glamorgan, having left us to join Cardiff City after over 100 appearances. So that's one who played hardly any of either and one who played loads of both.

Kevin Baron and Harry Threadgold both played cricket for Prittlewell CC in the 50s.
