It now means that as we have a blank Saturday on the 6th December 2014, when the 2nd round matches are being played, we can bring forward the Burton away fixture currently scheduled for a mid week fixture on 18th March 2015. It is a win, win, win situation (apart from the result that is!). Will the club do this, do you think?

No. Its our chance of FA Cup Glory thats gone for a Burton .

I think we will arrange a lucrative friendly for that date with one of footballs big boys...... Great Wakering or Heybridge Swifts.

Could bring forward Newport home game - they were dumped out 4-2 by Luton and the game is currently scheduled for a Tuesday night in the new year.

That would mean playing Burton in early December, but then playing them again three weeks later. Bringing Newport forward makes more sense, especially for the away fans. Its a shorter trip for Burton fans than Newport fans

Bringing forward the Newport game would be best, extra weeks break at seasons end.

surely that date will now be earmarked for a behind-closed-doors friendly giving the young lads 'a real chance'...before picking the same team the week after.

or a week in Malaga.

We are away to Burton so surely it is better for us to travel there on a Saturday rather than mid week. The Newport game is at home so it would be better for us to play this mid week.

Additionally I don't have to trouble our ticket office for a while in all probability until next season
