Massive, massive 3 pts. Well done lads.

Deegan has got to learn though, cos he could have easily cost us the game.

This win believe me could easily be the spark for top 3 as we are just 2 points behind .Going out later to get happy

Two strikers for most of the game and 3 goals.
Yoy must be over the proverbial Mrs B !

I'm just so relieved that Phil Brown listened to my advice at half-time! :winking:

"Lucky we've been on top for most of the first-half.:'( Even with ten men we've got to still go for it in the second-half......may as well lose 4-1 as 2-1..............two points from three games this year just ain't good enough."

Well done to the team today, and to the boss. Sounds like his tactics weren't so bad after all :winking:

Tremendous effort to play the majority with only 10 men and to come out on top. Poor Oxford, they must hate us!

Yes you did well and if you recall, I did say we can win and that Corr would come on and get a late winner.
Good days have to be relished.
Starting to warm to Brown again:winking:

Two decent tackles in the game - Deegan got sent off for one and Timlin pulled up for the other. Apart from that it was the non contact sport that the football authorities seem to desire. I hope someone buys Bentley a drink for digging us out at the end with a big save. The two loanees up front have better movement than were used to, but don't have the Southend work ethic yet! Oxford were pretty dire - if PB had played a proper central defender, I don't think they'd have got 2.

Steady

Phil still needs to turn our home form around with blistering attacking play, come on Phil you can do it.

I've heard it called any things but "thinking positive" is a new one to me!! :winking:

You need to watch the film 'Kellys Heroes' if you haven't already, it's full of thinking positive!!

Later.....just realised what you were saying, ignore the comment. Still a good film though.
