SOUTHEND United manager Phil Brown has warned goalkeeper Daniel Bentley he will not start against Carlisle on Saturday unless he is fully fit.

Which confirms that he played Dan whilst unfit at Stevenage when either Smithy could have played.

Perhaps he will put Corr in goal, it would be the nearest he usually gets there:blush:
You see some real crap posted on sz at times, he may not be prolific but without his goals this season we would be in a far worse position plus he has had poor service.

Appears irony is lost on some, how many points have we won due to Corr's goals. His touch is that of a tailors dummy. If an opinion is different to yours, no need to call it crap.
Politeness cost nothing and makes the world a better place:smile::smile:

Since Pigott signed, Corr has scored a goal every 56 minutes 20 seconds.

With Pigott and Corr up front together the team scores ever 29 minutes 15 seconds.

The only dummy round here would therefore appear to be you.

Not a meaningful enough sample size to draw anything from that.

I think overall this season, Corr has disappointed (fully agree that the poor service/formation has been a factor, but Corr has to take some blame too).

It's enough to suggest that it's worth seeing a much larger sample size.

It speaks volumes about how great BBBC is that a season in which he's scored 8 goals in 19 starts to date is considered disappointing.

Didn't realise it was as few starts as that actually.

Take the goals aside, what disappoints me is his attitude (mainly with refs - he is just constantly moaning the whole game it just ****es refs off and they end up not giving him anything) and the amount of times he risks being offside from dead ball situations - that infuriates me.

Anyway, back on to the thread I think it will be interesting who Brown picks if Bentley isn't fit. It's not obvious who he'll go for.

So, other than half-fit Bentley in goal, what do we think the rest of the team will be?
