A fantastic result against a team who have been fighting for their lives against league 2 survival...
5 points behind Wycombe, 1 point behind Bury..
Beat Bury and that turns to 2 points + and - against both teams.
We have a good run home as well.
Blues well and truly alive.
As for the game - Bolger was brilliant. By far his best game in a Southend shirt.
Correct .:smile:TBH I think Adam Barrett back is a lot to do with that..he is the leader we have missed all season.
Without wishing to sound like a Brown basher after another win, it is baffling how he left Barrett out for so long after signing him, still huge question mark over Brown's ability as a manager for me, as much as it pains me to say it, I think RM deserves a lot of credit for allowing so many quality players to be signed, whether we will pay for that later who knows but he seems to have found some change down the back of the sofa !!!TBH I think Adam Barrett back is a lot to do with that..he is the leader we have missed all season.

I think for the most part Brown has got it right with the defence this season in that he has generally stuck by the guys in form and made others wait to get in. Very few changes unless injury or suspension have dictated.
A lot can change in 3 days...automatic is now a realistic possibility, I just pray Wycombe completely bottle it from now. Bury's next 2 games are away at Newport and at home to Shrewsbury.
PB saying that Dan Bentley has a broken nose. It was certainly a really tense finish.
