Think this deserves its own thread. Well done to the young lad with the drum, thought he was excellent and to have the confidence and play infront of all the people around with great

So well done!

We could see the two/three lads on the drum from where we were sitting and they did not stop throughout the game.
Great atmosphere yesterday

I was right behind them and they worked so hard, and frankly I don't know how they kept going for so long.

Made add a great day very special by leading the singing

They were absolutely brilliant. They just kept the momentum going right through the game and were the catalyst for all of us to join in. Well done guys.

Can they walk in front of the team bus on parade day?

One of the lads one the drum is only 15 and some of you may remember him as the kid who missed the Crewe game at Wembley after suffering a burst appendix and with further complications is very lucky to be alive!

Yes, Dan was the one on the drum the majority of the time and as I've already said elsewhere, did a fantastic job.

Sorry chaps and chapesses, but I'm going to spoil the party here. The drum was responsible for stopping many of the chants spreading through the whole crowd, especially in the first half. When the singing section got a song started the drummer bashed the drum so loudly that the surrounding areas couldn't hear the chant that had been started and so the chant went nowhere, drowned out by the drum. It was so frustrating. Just because you can bang a drum loudly dosent necessarily mean you are doing anything good. The drummer needs to go away and learn how to blend his drumming rhythm in with the song that's starting. He needs to understand how his drum can contribute and not take away. It isn't about banging out a counter beat that has no relevance to the song trying to be developed through the stands. It's about harmonising.

What happened to the people letting off the yellow smoke bombs at the Green Man ?

That well known band 'Show Off Arse Minority' played a free open air gig again.
Like most support bands , nobody was interested.....

First you say they were brilliant, then want them killed run over by a bus:sad:

Harmonsising 20,000 ? He wasn't out front on a stand was he?.

Always one that wants to rain on a parade, they are only young lads, doing something with passion, and it's not the Albert hall

Maybe you need to watch what he actually does.... He was communicating with others in different sections , and then starting with a short bust so they knew he was going to bang out a specific chant... It's hardly a hit and miss affair... Far from it.
