Wimbledon 2015 thread

Nothing too exciting so far, although the Greek got a bit salty and Sharapova screamed our number 2 lass out the door. I think she's a Black Canary fan. Not gonna blame her, Kaity Lotz is fit.

G'wan Andy! That is all.

Cue usual anti-Murray responses :zzzzz:

Cue the generic sweeping dismissal of those that don't support the same player as yourself.

Enjoyed Watson's performance, saving those three match points on her serve was excellent viewing; she did so well to overcome the nerves.

Yes, but those who dismiss Murray generally do it on the basis of one off camera cheeky comment to Tim Henman when he was 17 that was reported by a journalist, or his supposed sour demeanour rather than his phenominal tennis ability.

No.5 seed Kei Nishikori has retired due to an injury. Liam Broady truly battered, and Djoko powering through.

James Ward currently doing very well on Court two. Two up against the no.46 seed, although he is 4-2 down in the third set. It would be a fantastic achievement if he could make the third round for the first time - it's only the second time he's made the 2nd round.

Murray's through. Hour and a half, straights, no real hassle. Now left wondering what the **** to do all day because he's never on this early.

And now confirmed top 100 player. 77k in prize money, a real shot at round 4 to add to that, and pretty much guaranteed entry into the slams if he can keep it up.

Highlights make good watching. Nadal's becoming a joke.

Rather harsh. Maybe suffering from something, and he currently maybe not the player he once was, but he's still won two titles in 2015, plus reached the QFs of the French & Aus Grand Slams. 100s of pros would wish for that form.

Well, outside of Wimbledon he's great yeah, but he's been put put by people outside the top 100 at Wimbledon for the last three years. And he's only seeded tenth this year.
