Hope he's back in contention soon, and that things aren't serious.

Concur with the above comments. I find it a little concerning that they feel it necessary to announce more later in the week, rather than just come out with a cause. As with everyone else, I just hope it's nothing serious and that he'll be back in the team soon.

Just hope its not to serious and a speedy recovery is on the cards. When things first turn up as bad news its tough but medicine these day is phenomenal. Having lived with my son through his cancer and then some years later a life threatening brain injury, its great to see him virtually in full clear recovery . (apart from hair loss and a dent in his head!!) thanks to his tenacity and the amazing medical skills. He also had to have frozen man frogs and feared never having to father a child. Just got the news thats all about to change as well! Hopefully nothing as bad as these things for Stephen , but even if it was, the prognosis is much more positive these days, Wishing Stephen all the best.

Doesn't sound too good if he's been out a couple of weeks and needs to see a specialist now.

All the best Macca, get well soon.

According to Chris on Twitter he is expected back in training today

EDIT

I keep forgetting I can add the tweet now

Really good news. Think he'll be a real asset for us once he's fully fit and up and running. In my opinion he's our best crosser and will always create chances once he breaks into the team. Hope he's well on the mend.

Fingers crossed it is a quick recovery. I think Worrall should be on one wing and McLaughlin on the other. Having Timlin out on the wing just makes the team unbalanced as it isn't his natural position.

I just find it all very odd that they announced what they did yesterday and then he's back in training!
