Ukip

UKIP lost both council seats they attempted to retain today - one went to the Lib Dems which is a very strange shift in the vote from the most Leave party to the most Remain party. Politics, always confusing.

What relevance do they have to politics now? The clue is in their name. UK Independence Party. We have Independence and it is "job done" for them regardless of what the die hard members say.

UKIP's days are numbered. The upcoming leadership contest contains candidates with hard-right links and insiders say they've got more in common with the BNP than any mainstream political party.

If I'm right a lot of BNP members left to join UKIP. I suspect they'll all go back sooner rather than later. Then the BNP can claim to be the fastest growing "political" party in the UK!

After something like 18 months of build up and one week before he was due in the High Court Nigel Farage has withdrawn his disparaging remarks about Hope Not Hate and promised never to repeat them again. Bluff called, Nigel backs down.

Well done HNH for standing up for the bully Nigel Farage who has built a political career on half truths, innuendo and lies.
having listened to the clip it's particularly distasteful as he is attacking Jo Cox's husband for associating with this violent organisation that he now agrees are not violent. It's put across in his usual smug **** manner which seems so out of place as he is trying to score points over someone recently widowed.
