Kevan Hurst

He scored a 20 yard screamer in stoppage time today on his Mansfield debut in their 3-2 win over Newport County.

I believe that's his first goal in nearly 2 years.

Sounds like the Kevan Hurst of old, hope he does well there.

He's now been sent out on loan to National League side Guisley until the end of the season.

I'm guessing that's the end of his career at Mansfield then, as he seems to have been either excluded from the squad or featured on the bench as an used substitute for most of this season. His contract with them also expires at the end of this season.

So sad. We all know he can be a very good player, just needs a rocket up his wotsit.

I guess his days at Mansfield were numbered when Steve Evans took over. Much too good a footballer to play for him !

I am sure there will be a few Conference teams that Kevan would improve ........... unless he has put on a few pounds in the last couple of years.

Guiseley beat Accrington Stanley last night with Hursty completing 107 minutes for the cause!
