Just heard, not sure if its old news or not but I cant find it on the SZ, that parts of the Dome have been stolen & presumably sold off for scrap.......so now its rendered pretty much useless!!

Anyone else confirm this?? I did hear it from one of the dads who son attends our academy

If true another great bollock drop from Ron, shouldn't he be sacked for mistakes!!

At least it's going to good use if it has indeed been sold for scrap.

I've heard the story about the instructions being missing or the colour coded paint on the actual steel has been washed off with rain so we don't know how to build it :hilarious:

I think people just make these stories up and then add more and more legs to them to try and give themselves an explanation as to why it's just sitting there not doing anything

Something like this I think... I heard it was not so much the instructions, but each part was marked in red where they joined the other pieces and the markings have washed off in the rain/snow/ice whatever due to not being adequately covered or protected.

Perhaps this was the groundsmans fault as well...

Dome conspiracy theories are among my favourite things about this club. I am sure a lot of them aren't true but they do give me a chuckle. Keep them coming!

If it was mine....I would rent it to a professional club....up to that club then to gain planning...but until they do they still have to pay my rent for the thing.

It wasn't quite the fun experience Frankie and his Hollywood pals led Ron to believe

Or Public Enemy, come to that.

Rather aptly containing the lyric "It's weak to speak and blame somebody else, when you destroy yourself"

It's Ron all over;

I got so much trouble on my mind
I refuse to lose
Here's your ticket...

No! The pitch is frozen
Quick, sack the groundsman

I had heard that last night Ron was found trying to bury some of the dome tubing under the Roots Hall pitch with an open end feed into his office so he could recycle his own hot air when the weather was looking a little frosty.

He's also invested £554.99 of the Bentley million in a robot mower including, cleverly recognising the urgency, £5 extra for Amazon Prime delivery.

Just the line painting to sort now but that's proving a bit tricky so new stadium plans have been put on hold whilst that one is sorted

I heard a rumour that the head groundsman was instructed last week to just pop the dome up over the area in front of the south stand to protect the pitch from the frost, this was to guarantee the game Saturday would go ahead.

Some one was a bit upset when this did not appear to have happened.:winking:

The solution is simple, get an attractive cleaner to give the dome pieces a good polish.

That way we'll get an erection from Ron Martin in seconds.

allegedly.

Ah, the missing lyric after "when a brother was slain in Bensonhurst!"
