None of those, his positioning was fine. He just knew he could get nowhere near that shot. As Andy T says it was right in the top corner.

Agreed, it looked an excellent shot - the sort you dream of.
 
I thought Northampton were better than many are giving them credit for. Not sure why they retreated so far back with about 20 to go as they were capable of going on to get the win. Their first goal was excellent (the pass down the line by Boateng was inch-perfect, as was the finish) and the second came from a predictably good free kick from Taylor.

As for us, we've played better, we've played worse. Thought Ranger was a real handful when he came on, it didn't really happen for Marc for a change. The two goals again were well worked and again Cox showed great quality.

Not too disheartened, some of the football we are playing these days is very good and you won't win every week. Big worry about Ferdinand, hope he's OK.
