Leon was a cultured and dominant figure in our midfield and played 130 consecutive league games for us. After being released by Charlton in 2014 he trained with us for a while. Please ask him whether there was any intention, or hope, of playing for Southend at that time.

Thanks.

Thought he was a defender ? Remember him giving it the biggun (kissing the badge etc) for Crystal Palace when they scored against us in the championship about 10 yrs ago...or have I got the wrong guy ??

D'you know what. So did I. He was a centre-half wasn't he?

Question for Leon Cort : Were you a defender or a midfielder?

He was indeed a centre half.

Q: Is the centre half position, as undertaken by Leon Cort, a midfield or defensive position? Discuss with the use of case studies and impressive algorithms.
