Champions Trophy 2017

The ICC prepare the tracks, apparently, so they are slowly getting drier and more crumbly as the tournament progresses. I'll leave anyone to draw their own conclusions.

If England bowl well, though, it's a defendable target. There's no pace in the wicket, at all.

I'll stick my neck out here and say that Pakistan won't win this tournament!

I shall be making a brief statement, after which I shan't be taking any questions!:'(

Some performance by Pakistan. In the context of BCCI refusing to play them outside of tournaments and not permitting their players to play IPL, that is a very pleasing final outcome. India are so hard to like. They get everything set up for them and still fail so frequently.

2004 Champions Trophy, 2013 Champions Trophy, 2016 World T20, 2017 Champions Trophy. Are we becoming the new South Africa?

Very well played Pakistan though - such a typically Pakistan tournament really. Their showing here over these last few weeks reminds me of this book, which I cannot recommend highly enough. A first class read...

That book has been on my list for ages, as well.

MO 'Uncle Leo' for the reminder.
