Boris Johnson interview

Personal highlight is his indigence at the interviewer trying to catch him out. He knows the game, he can't get ****y because he's not that good at playing it.

Cocky? Obviously not....I can't work out what's been obscured.

Twitter has gone into meltdown over his comments about Libya as a holiday resort once the dead bodies have been removed. Two Tory MPs calling for him to be sacked among the many non Tories calling for the same.
May could see this as an opportunity to get rid of him for something that is based purely on his suitability rather than him undermining her / the party.
Conservative Party conference is on but every day it is about him. Potentially for the last time....

Some Tory grandee was quoted yesterday, as saying he'd only win 30 or so votes in a leadership ballot among his fellow MP's .(who after all know him best), which if true, would of course stop his name going any further forward.Good.

It would be suicide for them to pick either Bojo or Rees-Mogg as leader....so here's hoping eh?

At the end of Teresa May's speech (of which plenty more elsewhere on this forum I'm sure), Amber Rudd had to tell Johnson to stand up!

I've heard that theory a few times and as his behaviour becomes more and more inexplicable that becomes a more convincing theory.

It's the same with Farage to a certain extent. Run away from the mess you've made, and then you can continue to be a populist Brexiter who can criticise anyone who's trying to get Brexit sorted (Tory party, remoaners, EU etc etc.)

Johnson and Farage care about their legacy, and they can see it's going down the drain...

Also, Johnson is clearly lazy as ****. There are Trump similarities as well...

the footage of that seems to sum up a certain atmosphere.

Someone on twitter has posted links to news agencies throughout the world reporting on Johnson's 'dead bodies' speech and it seems it has travelled far and wide. That's our Foreign Secretary the world is talking about.
